Paph godefroyae "Blacky" HCC/OSSEA This is the third bloom for this plant. The first was in Oct 2010 when it was awarded HCC. The petals and sepal are almost covered with purple red. The NS for the petals and sepal are 72 and 42 mm respectively across. The pollens of the previous two blooms have been used to cross with some some other godefroyaes. We will see what the outcome is going to be when it starts to bloom.
Paph concolor alba:
This is the first to flower from a flask that was obtained in 2009. It took a bit longer that the other brachy flasks. Single flower of average form displayed on one short, leaning inflorescence; sepals and petals very clear, pale cream yellow; pouch very light yellow and staminode yellow gold. Flower of this rare, unusual color variety is slightly smaller than normal colored type. The NS is 50 mm across.Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum:

One of the first few Paphs that I obtained way back in 2004. The plant went through several ups and downs but managed to survive and grow back again. It has 6 growths.

ReplyDeletehi Joseph, the godefroyae"blacky" HCC that you posted.
ReplyDeleteDo you still own the whole plant, or was it sold to a buyer already? Were any division of it sold to someone else?
The reason that I ask is that there is another godefroyae with the clone name "Darth Vader" that look remarkable like it . I wonder the two are the same one plant, or the other clone is a division of this one but the owner of the division rename his plant?
