February 2011 - Paph godefroyaes and niveum.

Here are some of the blooms over the last few weeks.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 136-1 - This is the third bloom from this plant and over the years it has grown into a cluster. It has 5 heads now. The flower have been very consistent for the last 3 blooms with dark markings over cream base very flat dorsal sepal and petals and above 80 mm across the NS.
Vital statistics of the plant is as follows:
  • Leaf span is between 60 to 80 mm.
  • NS and DS are 88 and 50 mm respectively.
Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 3620-9 - This is the #9 plant from flask . It has a clear pouch, a good balance between the dorsal sepal and petals.
Vital statistics of the plant is as follows:
  • Leaf span is between 85 - 125 mm.
  • NS and DS are 75 and 45 mm respectively.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 184-6 - This is the first and a late bloomer as the other siblings have flowered more than a year ago.
Vital statistics of the plant is as follows:
  • Leaf span is between 100 - 150 mm.
  • NS and DS are 75 and 45 mm respectively.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 157-1 - This is the second bloom from this plant. This time it has only 1 flower and ia slightly smaller than the previous bloom.
Vital statistics of the plant is as follows:
  • Leaf span is between 80 to 120 mm.
  • NS and DS are 62 and 42 mm respectively.

Paph niveum 4282-1 - This is the second bloom from this plant. The huge leaves are almost green with no tessellation on them.
Vital statistics of the plant is as follows:
  • Leaf span is between 150 to 200 mm.
  • NS and DS are 58 and 42 mm respectively.
