Paph leucochilum, Honey and Muriel Constance

Paph. Honey  is a hybrid between Paph. philippinense  and Paph. primulinum and was registered in 1978. Dorsal sepal lime green, striped with mahogany centrally. Petals slight twist, striped and spoted mahogany. Pouch clear and bright yellow.

This plant was sent to me on March 2012 at the verge of dying. Managed to nurse it back and it's blooming now. It  has 8 growths and 1 flower and another 2 buds from a single inflorescence.

 Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum MU371-1.
This is the second bloom. NS and DS 88 and 55 mm respectively.

 Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum TR184-4.

 Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum MK436.

 Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum MU371-5.

Paph Muriel Constance.
A plant that was grown from a small seedling. The plant now is growing in semi-hydro. A very easy hybrid to grow that flowers one after another.

  1. Great pictures of great flowers. You don't seem to have any problems flowering the brachys. Any cultural notes that you could pass on to someone who is thinking of acquiring a leucochilum? So far only one bloom in the paph dept for me, William Ambler. Thanks.
