July 2011 Part 1

Folks,

Here are some of the flowers from July. This is about the period where most brachys would bloom.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 436-1:
A large flower with burgundy spots over the cream base. The dorsal sepal is large in propotion to the NS. The NS and DS measure 70 and 56 mm respectively.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 436-7:
A large and very dark form with well marked tessellations over yellow base. The NS and DS measure 85 and 50 mm respectively. This is the second bloom and flower is as large as the previous bloom. Siblings from this crossing have consistently produce large flowers.

Paph godefroyae fma leucochilum 136-1 - This is the fourth bloom from this plant and second for this year. The plant has grown into a large cluster. It has 5 heads now. The flower have been very consistent for the last 3 blooms with dark markings over cream base very flat dorsal sepal and petals and above 75 mm across the NS.

Flowers from this crossing produce dark markings. A large flower with burgundy streaking markings over light cream base and clear pouch. The NS and DS measure 80 and 40 mm respectively.
