Unable to grow Pravis? Try their hybrids.

The sub genus Parvisepalum are found mainly in North Vietnam, South West Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Guangdong.
They prefer a much cooler temperature to thrive. Species like delenatii, ermersonii, malipoense and hangianum are able grow and bloom if we give them a cool treatment (air condiioning). However species like armeniacum and micranthum prefer a much cooler temperature.
If you are unable to grow them, try some of their hybrids. Some of these hybrids do not need any special care.
Below are two hybrids with Brachy from my collection.
The hangianum x Greyi hybrid still retains some fragrance which is the characteristic of hangianum.
The armenianum x godefroyae (Kiryu) is a nice and large hybrid. Two of my plants have a NS of 10 cm across. It retains the dominant yellow colour of armeniacum
